Simple Plain Truth

Let's get this straight. Let's just focus on doing the right thing to succeed and have fun.
Success is about feeling right, doing right things and that's just working(not hard, just working)
and doing things that are needed to achieve what was intended to. So I am starting a new journey to start working and doing the right thing needed to succeed. That's it, just work hard and do the right thing and succeed. Be responsive, creative and principled and do the right thing. That's just the plain truth.

McCain Stand on GI Bill is ridiculous

Senator Mc Cain does not get to set the Obama agenda. When Barack Obama visits Iraq he will not find the success John McCain is claiming is here. There are lot of solidiers stationed in Iraq on second and third tour of duty. When these leaders go to Iraq they are covered by hovering heavily armed blackhawk and chinook helicopters, surrounded by several companies of soldiers and marines and always wear flak jackets and helmets while telling us that everything is safe. Those who actually have to live in the conditions in Iraq are called to go on patrol in vehicles are not properly armored and pray that an IED does not kill or maim them(34800 killed or maimed and counting). America needs to go see for itself the human cost of this 12 billion a month fiasco. Please go visit a local veterans hospital and then decide for yourself if any of this is worth our sacrifice. Troops on the ground honor John Mc Cains service in Vietnam yet we are just befuddled as to why he does not honor solidiers tours here with his support for Jim Webbs GI Bill. He says it will affect army's reenlistment and we cannot afford it. Really Mr Mc Cain? Cant afford it but can pay Blackwater guys ten to twenty times more than what typical marine makes. Only one tour here does not merit marines going to college Mr. Mc Cain? Not everyone gets to marry a multi millionaire heiress like McCain did so please reconsider your position on the bill which it looks like has the support to override a certain George W. Bush veto. Pray to god to elect obama as President, that will change the world for generations to come.

Power of Communication

I must tell you that the power of communication is immense. It changes the perception about you. I have seen guys who don't look powerful, articulate when you see them, But when they open their mouth to speak, you are awe-struck by their communication skills, by their articulation and presentation of their views.
Like any other skill, Communication skills can be improved, but it needs lot of practice,patience and conscious effort. Today I ordered a audio tapes on amazon to improve my communication skills and reduce my accent. Today I found a website(http://www.accentschool.com). I spent couple of hours on this website, so far it seems to be interesting. I need to explore it more, before I can say with authority if it's useful website.
Their are three components to communication, one how you formulate your ideas, how you communicate them and how you review and improve them. It should be evolving process, where you constantly evaluate yourself and learn from mistakes and improve yourself.

Obama on track to White House.

I was analyzing the race for democratic nomination between senator clinton and obama today. Obama is poised to become nominee, but the race is pretty close. It is probably first time the race for the nomination is that close. Obama is not building support among low-income less educated white americans. But I am confident as time rolls on to the fall, obama will build enough support and broad based coalition to win elections in fall. Obama is good for america and the world, he will be a great symbolic change to america and the world, that symbolic change can drive an hope and change to the entire world. With a huge political capital, he can indeed govern America with good policies and change the direction of this country.
If you check democratic elections, roughly every 15 years, democrats give rise to a young star who leads the party to presidency. FDR rose in 1930's and Kennedy in 1960's and carter in 1976 and clinton in 92 and now obama in 2008.
Obama is on track to white house, he need to manage his campaign positively, come up with more detailed policy and contrast himself with mccain and bush.

Walk for 100 minutes

Today I went for a walk in a neighbourhood park for 100 minutes, I walked for atleast 4.5 miles. That was a good walk, a slow stroll through a very peaceful, green park with my wife. I would love to run for an hour for 5 miles rather walk for 2 hours, running is more efficient and it takes less time to achieve more. I will start running from tomorrow. This week, I want to run for 5 days with an hour each day for atleast 5 miles a day. That's the goal for this week. I want to meet this goal. I want to swim for 40 min a day and also do strength training for 30 min a day for next 5 days.

Exercise

Why Exercise is so tough to Do. Why routine is so tough to maintain, is it because it's so easy to let it go, not do it, just let the time prevail without routine. I always had a tough time to maintain routine or to exercise regularly. I want to change it, I want to redefine myself. I need to get into a routine that I can sustain. I need to start achieving small goals that I had set forth before, to achieve them, I need discipline, motivation to keep going. To start moving in a direction, where i can set goals and also achieve them, to realize that potential. I am starting today, now, with small steps. This week will be my starting point towards realizing my enormous potential.
